Valerie Berg has been in the real estate industry since 1998, driven by a passion for helping clients find their perfect homes. Prior to embarking on her successful real estate career, Valerie honed her sales and customer service skills while working at Johnson Brothers Furniture. Over the years, she has developed strong negotiation and communication skills, making her a well-versed expert in her local market.

Valerie holds a Real Estate Broker’s License and has earned several prestigious designations, including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyers Representation (ABR), and Seller Representative Specialist (SRS). She graduated from Proctor High School in 1984 and attended Duluth Business University, where she studied Accounting. Her continued commitment to excellence is demonstrated by completing professional courses such as the Pro Source Realtor program, along with the CRS, ABR, and SRS courses.

An avid outdoor enthusiast, Valerie enjoys a variety of activities like fishing, hunting, camping, kayaking, hiking, and traveling. She finds joy in taking on new projects, staying calm in tough situations, and not sweating the small stuff. Family and friends are at the center of her passions, along with indulging in her love for ice cream.

Beyond her professional and recreational life, Valerie is committed to her community through volunteer work, participating in food drives, chamber events, and home shows. She is the proud mother of two sons, ages 32 and 28, and has a cherished family of pets that includes three grand dogs, a grand cat, and her own two dogs – a Pomeranian and a King Charles Cavalier. Valerie also owns a cabin in Cotton, which she utilizes as a vacation rental, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit.
