Our Story:

In 1919, a young Greek immigrant came to the United States seeking the promise of a new land. While at Ellis Island, he was told of a great opportunity in a northern port city named Superior, Wisconsin. Upon arrival, he began working for the local railroads but always dreamed of owning his own business. Within ten years, he saved enough to open a small cafe serving homestyle meals to the working people in the surrounding community. Elias Loannis Letsos (or Grandpa Louie as he came to be known) dream of serving quality food has become a Northland Family tradition in the Twin Ports for over 50 years!
