Beginning his journey in supplemental insurance sales post-college, he quickly transitioned to retail as a Sales Manager at Best Buy. Sand expanded his expertise through roles with Unicel, United Health Care, and Minnesota Power, before assuming his current position as Station Manager at The Landline Company. He is also a proud entrepreneur, owning and operating Integral Hockey Twin Ports/Iron Range Stick Repair and NINR Hockey Products.

With a career largely centered on management and sales, Sand’s true strengths lie in his exceptional customer service skills. A natural listener, he takes pride in understanding and addressing client needs, utilizing his communication abilities to craft solutions. Sand holds an Associate of Arts from Itasca Community College and a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Marketing from The College of St. Scholastica. Outside work, he enjoys traveling, camping, and coaching youth hockey and baseball. Sand remains an avid sports enthusiast and is active in hockey and golf leagues. Unique in many ways—including his first name, inspired by a Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood duet—he treasures his wife Kristine and the life they share together. His passion for fostering growth extends from his professional endeavors to volunteer work coaching and mentoring young athletes.
