Ethan Todd is a 23-year-old singer, songwriter, and musician originally from New Ulm, Minnesota, now based in Duluth. Beginning his music career immediately after graduating college, Todd quickly became a familiar face at some local Northland favorites. Over the past year and a half, he has continued to grow his reputation as a dynamic and entertaining performer by gigging throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Typically playing cover setlists made up mostly of classic country and rock, Todd is influenced by a wide variety of genres and has never felt the need to limit his original music to just one sound. Basing his writing on the timeless principles of relatable storytelling, moving melodies, and real musicianship, his original material effortlessly shifts between styles or blends them together. This approach has proven successful, with positive feedback from audiences and fellow musicians—most notably when he won the crowd vote for Best Songwriter at Wussow’s Concert Café’s 2023 Duluth Songwriters Contest.
By continuing to expand his live act and aiming to release music in the near future, Todd is an artist to watch. Stay tuned to see what lies ahead for this young, determined musician.
