Chris Carey is the owner and operator of North Shore iPhone Repair in Duluth, MN. Before founding his current business, Chris built a foundation of experience in management and sales within the service industry. His career path began with ABM Industries, where he served as a Branch Manager in their Janitorial division in Omaha, NE, and later in Kansas City, MO. After moving to the Black Hills of South Dakota in 2014, Chris launched Black Hills iPhone Repair, providing top-notch cell phone repair services until relocating to Duluth in 2023 and rebranding the business as North Shore iPhone Repair.

Chris is an expert in iPhone repair, adept at solving a range of issues from broken screens and bad batteries to camera, charging port, and back glass repairs. His commitment to exceptional customer service is evident in his approach to flexible scheduling, competitive pricing with warrantied parts, and rapid turnaround times. Chris’s dedication to meeting customer needs is driven by his ability to empathize with his clients, ensuring an experience that stands out in the market.

Throughout his career, Chris has held various certifications, including NASD Series 6 and 63 licenses, as well as Minnesota Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance licenses. While at ABM Janitorial, he notably transformed an underperforming branch into one of the company’s top five branches within a year, achieving impressive growth and profitability.

Chris’s educational background includes a high school diploma from Fourth Baptist Christian School (1991), a Bachelor of Science in Ministries from the University of Northwestern, St. Paul (2004), and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Faith Evangelical Seminary (2021).

An outdoor enthusiast, Chris enjoys camping, hiking, ice fishing, and golf. Outside of his business, he and his wife run a non-profit organization called Ashley Down Mission, where Chris serves as a pastor. His passion for faith and community involvement is reflected in his role as part of the leadership team for the Wood City Music Festival in Cloquet in 2024 and delivering the Sunday morning message at the all-city church service at Veterans Park. Chris also serves as President of the Board for Kingdom Builders Ministries in Cloquet and provides pastoral leadership at Pequaywan Lakes Chapel during the summer and fall.

Chris is known for his genuine and real approach to relationships, driven by his deep love for others and his faith in Jesus Christ.
